Lions serve. Our club is a place where people join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving our community.
We Give Sight.
In the last two years, seven people in our community have received free eye exams and glasses.
The Lions also provided two people with cataract operations.
This philanthropic organization, related to the Masonic orders, serves the people of Medicine Bow and Wyoming.
Currently they fund-raise to provide service dogs for those in need and also scholarships for local graduates heading for college.
They meet the 2nd Saturday of the month at 11:00 for a meal and meeting. Due to bad weather, there are no meetings in January and February.
Members come from as far as Cheyenne, Worland, and Rawlins, although most live in the local area.

Mission: In the spirit of service not self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
This non-profit organization runs the museum. The volunteers staff the museum when it is open. They also fund-raise and maintain the grounds.
Dues: $10/year per family.

The Medicine Bow Museum is now accepting letters of interest for the position of Museum Director. Letters may be brought to the museum or emailed to medbowmuseum@gmail.com.
Letters of interest must be received by Monday, April 22nd.
